GLENDALE. This is such a unique and beautiful spot that it would be worth a visit, even if it wasn't the final resting place of numerous celebrities. The 300-acre cemetery is unlike any you've ever seen, with rolling lawns, hidden gardens, a pond with swans, and a maze of paths. The statuary alone is stunning, and if you're an architecture buff, you'll love the elaborate mausoleums and chapels. Paintings and stained glass art are housed in many of the buildings as well. Pick up a map at the entry gates - it's amazingly easy to get lost here.
